Dragon Road

Dragon Road, by Laurence Yep is 290 pages. Its about a two young boys that play basketball just like kids at recess. They go around making a little money in Chinatown playing other minors like them. Then, all of a sudden, they get the shot of a life time to go and play pro-basketball with a team called the Dragons. They travel around the country playing with the BIGS and having an awesome time. I'm going to end this bleet on that exciting note because I don't want to give the rest of the book away. This book is perfect for pretty much everyone unless you think that if you don't play basketball, you shouldn't read it.

The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas

This 220 page book by John Boyne is really heartwarming. Its about a boy named Bruno who lives a regular life at his home in Berlin, Germany. Then, he moves to a house called "Out With" that has a big fence that goes on 'forever' across the street. Bruno meets a boy named Schmuel that is a Jewish captive of the Nazis. Over time, Schmuel and Bruno become best friends and have many great meetings.  I don't want to summarize the rest of the book so if you read it, try to finish this summary. Read this book if you are not afraid to cry.

Dragonwings

This 317 page book by Laurence Yep is very inspiring. Like,Windrider I would like to accomplish some of my big goals in life. I can relate to Moon Shadow because I use to always ask my Mom about my Uncle that I didn't know anything about.I just felt that my "mental family" wasn't complete. This book is perfect for a person that is willing to be insrired by book characters.
