No Fear Shakespeare :Hamlet

I read Hamlet, a 337 (644= double pages) page tragedy by William Shakespeare. It was about prince Hamlet trying to get revenge on King Claudius for murdering his father. Hamlet finds out about the murder in the beginning of the play where King Hamlet's ghost explains how he was killed by Claudius. Hamlet proves to himself that the ghost was telling the truth about Claudius and ends up killing him in the end. A happy ending, right? No, not in this play. During the scene where Hamlet kills Claudius, Hamlet gets struck by a poisonous foil held in the hand of Laertes while they were fencing. Then, Hamlet's mother drinks a glass of poison on accident. Finally, Hamlet scratches Laertes with the poisonous fencing foil. So, most of the main characters die in the end. Some themes of this play would be deception and Appearance vs. Reality.
